Privacy policy

Thawline Plumbing is a free referral service. Calls and requests are connected to independent, licensed plumbing companies that serve your area; those companies quote, perform and warrant the work. Thawline does not perform plumbing work itself.

Information we collect

• Details you submit in a request: the plumbing problem, ZIP code, timing, name, phone number, optional email and notes.
• Call information when you phone us, such as the calling number, call time and duration. Calls may be recorded for quality and to route your call; you'll be told when a call is recorded where the law requires it.
• Technical and marketing data: pages visited, device type, and campaign tags (such as UTM parameters or ad click IDs) stored in your browser so we can tell which ads and pages lead to requests.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse of the request form.

How we use and share it

We use your information to connect you with plumbing help. When you submit a request, we share it with up to three independent plumbing companies that serve your area so they can contact you by phone, text or email. Those companies use your information under their own privacy policies.

We also use service providers for hosting, call routing and analytics. We don't sell your information for money. Where state law treats sharing with plumbing companies as a “sale” or “sharing,” you can opt out by contacting us.

Calls and texts

By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you agree that Thawline and the plumbing companies we share your request with may call or text you about your request, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

Retention and security

We keep request data only as long as needed to route it and meet legal obligations. Request data is sent over encrypted connections and is not placed in page URLs.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you by calling the number on this site.
